Music Live!

Music Live! brings upcoming musicians and bands to campus. These performances typically take place in Lydia's Lounge at University Hall, but have also been held in the SC Ballroom, Olin Quad and Dingeldine Music Center. Past Music Live! performers include Matt Nathanson, the Red Walls, We the Living, Matt Wertz and others!
 
Music Live! is always looking for committee members to help come up with ideas for new performers, plan the concerts and create fun marketing campaigns. Andrew Belle

On Wednesday, March 31st, Chicago native and Nashville-based singer/songwriter Andrew Belle will be performing at 7pm in Lydia’s Lounge.  Not long after the release of his debut EP “All Those Pretty Lights,” Andrew Belle was nominated for and won the 2009 MTV VMA Award for “Chicago Breakout Artist of the Year.”  His music has been heard on TV shows, such as the CW Network’s 90210 and MTV’s The Real World.  Andrew Belle’s first full-length album is scheduled for release February 23rd, 2010.  Bradley’s very own talented Jared Bartman will be opening for Andrew Belle.  This concert is FREE!

Late Night BU: ft The Rocket Summer

On Tuesday, May 4th, the Rocket Summer will be performing at 11pm in the Markin Center during Late Night BU.  Texas native Bryce Avary, the singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist who started the one-man band known as The Rocket Summer (a name taken from a Ray Bradbury short story), began his career at age 16.  The Rocket Summer has played sold-out shows around the world and has performed at popular events such as, Austin City Limits, U.K.’s Glastonbury Festival, Cornerstone, and Vans Warped Tour.  The new Rocket Summer album, “Of Men and Angels,” hits stores February 23rd, 2010.  The Rocket Summer has been on the road with bands such as Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, and The Stokes.  This concert is FREE!
